almost interesting reading

Here's a story that would have caught my attention if its headline had been posted just a tad differently:

See, I misread. I thought the headline said "Author turns embalmer to share her experiences." And you have to say: that headline has panache! That's a story I would have read!

But alas, no....turns out it's just another dead, mummified author selling her schtick.
