In the face of all this technology and all this emphasis on practical learning applications, I begin to worry that Chaucer and medieval literature may seem, well, terribly quaint. But perhaps I _should_ be worrying about this. Since I strongly believe that Chaucer's stories and perspectives are every bit as relevant today as they were in the fourteenth century, the task for me is to continue to update my repetoire of teaching tricks so as to ease Chaucer into the twenty-first century.
After all, there's no reason to keep teaching like we're in the Middle Ages.
