Well, my house is almost back to normal after the huge flood disaster of two weeks ago: the ceilings have been replaced; the drywall repatched, molding newly installed, and everything freshly painted. In fact, the house is, if anything, a little better-looking than it was before.
So I am grateful for all the incredibly professional and speedy help I got on this thing, especially considering how totally hopeless I felt when it happened.
Having said that, though, I will be just so happy when all the workmen are out of the house. I don't know what it is about workmen, but periodically they have to come in and use the bathroom, and, well, they just blow it out.
I'm trying to be delicate here.
But heck, what do these guys eat that causes this kind of gastric disturbance? Because I am VERY disturbed. And I'm tired of having to scrub out my toilets every day.
Well, at least it's almost over.

I wonder if the insurance company would have covered the rental of a port-a-potty...
Well...unfortunately I think that having 'blow outs' is part of the technicians job description. My x has told me when he was doing interior plant-scaping in a multi-million dollar model home he had one such blow out only to discover that the water had not been turned on in the house yet! There were other such episodes including some ugly run-ins with people's bidets. So at least your not alone.
